Robot... i love robot, love to build it, design it, program it, and do as i command... but i don't have that knowledge to build that advance robot and program it what i want him to be, so maybe is my luck or what? i finally able touch this suff name robotics and it's for primary school and it's name RCX...
My first time in the training, i didn't really care what that trainer talking about, i just know i can use this stuff to build what ever i want and program it whatever i command it, it was so fun and i was really excited! but of course i have to get know about this stuff so that i very concentrate on what the trainer talking about there, something i also wanna ask some question but i don't dare ask in front all the people so i always look for a chance to ask the trainer but still i scare will he teach me? every time robotics training i'm very serious about the programming part, because i must understand how to program the robot so that i have to get know and understand how to program it, and so other teacher see me soooo serious and concentrate and so they thought me like a freak or some kind or abnormal people... what the wordless, don't know how to explain to them...
After the training the school also have their competition like the NRC and WRO stuff but i no idea how to do that so i just do what ever i can do, finally i help that school from 0 nothing to 30+/ 150+ student, it was really surprise me that i can train those student and get the award, but i not really close to that school so all i just do is ask my head coordinator to do what i want to do and so i will spend all my time to train those student, but problem is, those student no always have their time to join this training, o well they don't want is their problem... Then come to this stuff name JR, my first and very popular themes is call Medical Frontail, it use RCX as well, while in the teacher training i do really focus and keep thinking any idea that i can solve those mission, so i really did spend lot of time and keep thinking while the other teach seem like chatting more that training o well that's not my problem, all i care is i want to design a robot that can finish all the mission in 1 program... ya even lunch time i also keep thinking and plan don't want to go for lunch and keep doing this mission, then time's up and it was show time to let all the teacher to show their robot and how it run... and so i'm the one who solve all the mission in 2min without break, but i was really nervous my hand also keep shaking because all the teacher watching me and take video from me and ask question from me, like i'm the super star that just arrive to this school lol... ya true after this training lot and lot and lot of people of this company know who am i... And so finish the higher robotics, then next lesson is lower, but i not really interested about lower stuff because first think i feel it was too easy for me, second thing it was totally no fun to play with even program also boring, so i didn't really did well on this, i feel like give up this lower and don't feel like continue do it, but still every teacher must build their own robot and program it then must take a run before go home, so i just do it very simple and quick and of course it not really well function just to finish it and back home... Then back to school i start looking for student to join this JR competition but problem is i only have 2 student and still need 1 more to go, but it was too hard to find a student that understand and quick and of course team work, so finally i found 1 student but problem is he must join the robotics class then able join in the JR competition, so i have to think something to solve this problem because this student really strong on programming if he here i'm very sure able get a price, so i really did all the stuff i can to let this student join in, and so finally the student join and 1 team is complete already, so i focus on them very hard and keep push them to remember how to build and understanding the programming, not just remember must let them understand and know how to do it if meet a special case... And so month passing light speed and tomorrow is the competition i ready all stuff to let them prepare go there for competition, but i don't want to show my face on the competition, so i take leave and not going back there... because all i know is they can do it and i trust them can do it without me! Ya true finally the student very happy call me and say we WON 4th place, when i hear that student say we WON, i'm very happy and proud of them i just say congratulation and then say some words maybe quite hurt lol what i say is omg just 4th only, i thought you get top 3 ouch...XD but seriously i'm very happy i have this 3 student be with me that time, training, scolding, playing, frustrated, joy, sad... really have lot of blood and tear while training, then i promise them 1 thing if you get top 10 i will tread you guys, if top 5 another good stuff, and of course if Top 1 Champion, just say what you want to eat i tread you guys! seriously they make me proud that time i didn't really have that money to tread them but they really won a price, so i give them 10 or 20 bulks and let them buy what ever they like... Ya this my NRC and JR story, quite funny after all lol.
Next year and another year, but i really upset why company tread me like this, i did so many thing but you just give me 50 bulks increment OMG, i really angry and i keep complaining why like this? what i did to this school no matter ICT or Robotics i also teach those student very well, i tread them very well sometime i even beat them... ya i know i shouldn't but i have to because 4J this class is my favorite class ever, they understanding my style and they know i very care about them, and of course while class is class, while play is play it was very free, but if you guys wrong i have to punish without mercy, so i did really beat them with ruler and quite hard also, even beat until they cry, while they cry i do really worry how are they, but i have to do it must without mercy and fair upon all the student in the class, then after class i ask those student how was your hand? they smile and look at me so PAIN!!! so i touch they head and say remember don't do it again... then they smile and go back to class, seriously only this class i beat them so hard and almost whole class get punish... but still i always remember them even i leave this school already i also go back to the school and pay visit...
Back to robotics class, i remember i didn't really follow what the slide ask me to teach, i just know i have my style and i will teach them with my own style, so for the intro i will follow the slide run and explain what are they how it work and then go in building most of the time i also keep modifying the model and suit my activity, because i didn't really border the activity and how it do or work, i just have to see how this model will work and then look a while the activity path then i close it and i teach it by myself, teach them how to program it and how to do some activity then i come out the challenge to let them do, they do really happy while playing around, but after they finish play which means time's up need to dismantle all the model and put back together, i always check carefully don't let them did so messy, but every time they run so fast -.- so ? end up i have to help them finish all the mess, o well no choice who ask them is my student...
This story here all from KC1 my first school and i teach there already 1 and half year, then still pay visit around 1 year and i totally leave this school already, my favorite student also already go in high school, wish them luck in they future journey hope you guys still remember me this Bad Teacher hahaha.
Opss before end this story, i forget i still have something to post before end it haha. The school have they 100 years school ceremony and we have to make lot of booth outside, on that time my robotics in charge person ask me to prepare something to show on the booth there to attract parent and of course student, so i keep thinking what i wanna build? i know it was my human robot i wanna build it so long already, so then i challenge myself to build this crazy big robot by using touch sensor to control it movement power by 2 RCX, then another head RCX is to control the arm and the body... ya it was successful i really made it, i build this giant stuff took me around 3 days with fully function program but i facing problem is it leg can't handle the balance so i fail ... i have to carry it while it try to walk, because too heavy the motor don't have enough power to move it leg so on the last day i dismantle the leg and enhance it become wheel movement, and of course the hand also able grab something, then on that day my the robotics in charge person come to visit me and ask me how the situation and she also bring some robot from DES (my current working area), and let me put on the booth, that robot from des is wireless controlling robot lot of student like to play, but they more like my giant robot haha, why? because my giant can move any direction 1, able grab and drop stuff 2, easy controlling 3... yay i win, but i only let my favorite student touch because other student touch later bang out problem i really hard to fix it back lol... My favorite help me demonstrate the robot and some of them also help me pass the leaflet and even tell them what is this haha my kawaii student, and of course some parent have lot of question i have to answer them... ok here's it finally can stop weeee, enjoy reading? comments at below ^^.
